WE'VE DESIGNED THE 'GENES' TO FIT YOUR NEEDS!

We have put together genetics that work for us and will work for you! This year we are offering approx. 50 head of show wethers, along with an exciting selection of does and a few select bucks. We will be offering paints, reds and traditionals and a few spotted wethers out of our ennobled bucks. We will have 85% colored kids on our sale. This is our show wether sale. January wethers and early born February wethers will not be consigned or sold prior to the sale. Does and bucks will available throughout the year.

All of the wethers will be disbudded, wormed, vaccinated for overeating (CD/T), given selenium (Bo-Se) and vaccinated for soremouth. They have also been started with and are eating Kent pellets.

The goats may be viewed at the ranch from 7:00-9:00pm EST on Friday evening, April 16 and then again starting after 9:30am EST on sale day. Our sale is in the barn so dress warm!

KENT Feeds will be joining our sale this year. They will be donating a bag of feed to each buyer. We would like to thank Kent Feeds for supporting our sale and the Boer goat industry!

Congratulations and thanks to all of our valued customers! It's just not possible without you!

*Sale Format: All the goats will be assigned a lot number, and each buyer will sign up and receive a buyers number. A board will be set up that will have the lot number, base bid and a slot for a buyers number. Bids on the goats will be taken until 12:30pm.

When the Board is stopped at 12:30pm the sale is not over. Each goat will then be 'closed'* out individually starting with those animals which have had a bid on them. Once the animals with bids have been closed, then the animals that have not had a bid will be closed out.

*To close out animals, The person with the highest bid has the bid on that animal unless someone else with a bid on that animal wants to raise the bid. Only those bidders having placed a bid on a paticular animal while the board was open will be allowed to take part in the closing out of that animal. At this point a Cowboy Auction will take place. Each eligible bidder (those who have placed a bid on that animal during the day) will raise their bidder number. The price will gradually be increased and anyone wishing to drop out of the auction will lower their number until only one bidder remains. No goats will be released until the sale is over.

We have used this system in the past and it has worked very well for us.
